Hotly tipped Bristol based up and comer Trakker returns to fortress Natty Dub this month with another meteoric double payload in the form of the hard hitting roller “Neighbourhood Snitch” and effervescent killer “The Martian”. Following on from his 2018 smash hits “Tunnel Vision” and “Blanks” the release marks the second solo outing on Natty Dab from the young artist who is sure to develop into one of the next forerunners of the Drum and Bass scene.
“Neighbourhood Snitch” kicks off with robotic alarms sounds and Sci Fi atmospherics punctuated with skipping drum loops that break down eloquently and drop into a heavyweight distorted bass line accompanied by pacey amen loops and edgy fx reminiscent of a 1990s Dillinja inspired classic.
“The Martian”. As the name would lead you to believe is a journey into outer space. Sci Fi pads and space age bleeps build up into a chilling breakdown, just as you lean over to check the tune is still playing Trakker unleashes a tirade of tearing drum scores and barking cyber effects accompanied by crisp churning subs and screw-face educing mid bass stabs upon your delighted ears. This journey into the cosmos is certainly not one to be undertaken by the feint hearted!
